the opportunity to be in charge of
planning and arranging a very
romantic getaway in a beautiful
suite of your choice. Our lodging
facility provides the romantic setting,
you add the finishing touches.
There are
numerous services in the Dubuque area
that are available to help you create
your ideal getaway. Please note that the
costs of these services are in addition
to the price of the suite. All
transactions are between you and the
vendors. Please contact all vendors ahead
of time; some require two days notice and
some two weeks notice.

When you
book Quiet Walker Lodge Bed
and Breakfast for your
wedding, you have many choices to make
your day a day no one will forget! The
beautiful country setting
make an outdoor wedding a perfect choice.
Couples have exchanged their vows under
the willow tree as the songbirds sing.
Photographers like the forest as a
backdrop for pictures.
Wedding
parties have placed tents on the lawn
area and have catered in food for the
reception (for example, many elect to use
Hy-Vee for their
catering needs). Couples have stayed at
the lodge which has 9 suites available
for wedding parties.
Another
choice is having the wedding and
reception in the meeting room of the
Wakatanka House. Here you can have tables
and chairs for your guests and let the
caterer worry about the
details.
